Admittedly, I am not a morning person. I love sleeping in and being all cosy in the morning, which means I miss out on a lot of sunrises. But I do love a good sunset! Watching the sky change and the colours unfold is one of my favourite things, and leaves me forever in awe and wonder of God and His beautiful creation. Some sunsets have left me breathless, particularly the sunsets I’ve witnessed in outback Queensland. The top prize goes to the sunset I saw in Mt Isa when I was on placement there out at Lake Moondarra. I witnessed the sky turn from a depressing grey to a vibrant, bold and joyful mixture of gold, red, pink and orange. It was a wonderful sight to behold. I love the peace that comes with enjoying a good sunset. Sunsets excite for the wonders of heaven we have to look forward to, even though I’m certain the colours of heaven will be far beyond what we enjoy now. Here’s some photos I’ve captured of the some gorgeous sunsets I’ve been blessed to witness.

Psalm 19:1 – The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.
Love, Gracie.
